2025 Great Lakes Broadcast and Sports Media Academy

Description

The Michigan Association of Broadcasters (MAB) and the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) invite students to Ford Field for the 4th annual Great Lakes Broadcast & Sports Media Academy. This event gives future media professionals the chance to learn from industry leaders, explore careers in broadcasting and sports media, take part in interactive sessions, and connect with colleges and employers from across Michigan.

Time

Those registered for the full event should plan to arrive between 8-9am. Those registered for the "Career Fair Only" should plan to arrive at noon. 

8:00 am - Registration Opens: Networking, Photo Opportunities

9:00 am - 9:15 am - Opening Remarks

9:15 am - 10:00 am - Keynote Address

10:15 am - 11:00 am - Breakout Session Group 1

11:15 am - 12:00 pm - Breakout Session Group 2

12:00 pm - 3:00 pm - Lunch, Media Lab + Career Fair Powered by MSU

12:15 pm - 1:15 pm - Student Press Conference (College students only, requires pre-registration)

2:00 pm - 3:00 pm - Tours of Ford Field (Pre-registration and payment required)
