Power 96.5, Lansing’s heritage mainstream urban station, is looking for our next full-time afternoon on-air personality. This is a strong opportunity to join a locally owned, locally focused radio group and contribute to a station that’s deeply connected to its audience, culture, and community.

This role features a live weekday afternoon shift with an off-air focus on promotions, digital content, and brand engagement. The right candidate understands how on-air, social media, and web content work together to build audience loyalty and extend the station beyond the radio dial.

What You’ll Do: Host a live afternoon air shift on Power 96.5 Create and post engaging content for station social media platforms (video, photos, short-form posts, stories, etc.) Contribute content to the station website Execute station promotions, appearances, and live events Represent the station positively in the community and across digital platforms Work closely with programming & promotions Take coaching and feedback to continually improve on-air, digital, and public-facing performance

What We’re Looking For: On-air experience preferred (market size flexible for the right talent) Comfortable creating content for social media and digital platforms Strong personality, positive attitude, and solid work ethic Willingness to take direction, coaching, and feedback Passion for hip hop, urban culture, and local radio
