WBKB TV in Alpena Michigan is look for its next Master Control Operator. This is a part-time position where you’ll work behind the scenes, helping with a variety of essential responsibilities to keep local and national broadcasting running smoothly in northeast Michigan. We’ll provide on the job training for this position.

Duties include:

• Work specified board shifts. Play commercials as needed during live national events.
• Monitor control room syndicated broadcasting.
• Take incoming calls.
• Be willing to cover board shifts throughout the week and weekend.
• Verify clean audio and assist with local newscasts from Alpena and Marquette.

Compensation: Pay: $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12-16 hours per week.
Schedule: Morning, evening, weekend and on call shifts available

Requirements:

• Basic computer skills
• Problem solving
• Team player
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
