Blarney Stone Broadcasting, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Operation Manager for Q100 Michigan (WQON) and Up North Sports radio (WGRY). This leadership role includes the strategic implementation, management and execution of our IT, Automation and Traffic/Billing Systems, as well as the management of our two studio locations and tower/transmitter sites. Ultimately, work with owners to keep strong brands on-air and on-line while working to generate profits. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to reliability, excellent communication and time management skills and complete projects as planned.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

• 24/7 Monitor, Maintain, improve and repair all automation, studio/transmitter equipment and IT systems company wide
• Traffic of Daily/Event/Sports Logs including Reconciliation
• Manage Sports and play-by-play programming including scheduling, automation and delivery of content

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Team-oriented problem solver with superior organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work under pressure and deadlines with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of radio broadcasting inventory management software capabilities; network capabilities and automation interactions
• Proven Leader with experience in broadcasting and sports programming preferred
